Last Saturday night saw GoTri Racing Team celebrate success at the 2013 Triathlon Ireland Awards held at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. A strong contingent of team members and their partners donned their glad rags for a night of celebrations whilst taking stock of the incredible achievements of the club’s very first year. It was agreed by all that there were many key ingredients to this success- the dedication, hard work and talents of all of our triathletes; club sponsors- Trevor Askin & Sons, Kelly’s Ltd, FitzFlora and University of Limerick Activity Centre; the team spirit and support for all club members; and last but by no means least the coaching expertise and guidance of Stephan Teeling Lynch who established the very foundations on which the club has excelled from.
The results below speak for themselves- Anna Crooks, Rory Sexton, Dave Richardson, Andree Walkin, Maedbh Hurst, Steven Macklin, Stephan Teeling Lynch, Colm Turner & Mairtín Grealish all took awards on the night. Here’s to a great year past and another great year ahead!
